I am proud to say that I was raised in Lincoln County, with my family being supported by timber dollars. For six years after graduating from High School, I worked with our family business, Vincent Logging, as a fourth generation logger.

Recognizing that policy discussions are going to determine the future of our rural communities, I enrolled at the University of Montana and acquired a degree in Political Science.

For the past eight years, I have worked with a non-profit educational program called Provider Pals. The program’s mission is to foster understanding and respect while bridging the cultural gap between rural and urban communities. Understanding that politics do not belong in middle school classrooms, but wanting to fulfill my passion to serve my community and engage in the policy discussions that will affect our tomorrows, I ran for office in 2006.

I am a fourth generation Montanan, the father of a beautiful little girl; brother to a Lincoln County elementary teacher; avid hunter and outdoorsman; member of Communities for a Great Northwest, Citizens for Common Sense, the NRA, and work for the Libby based consulting business, Environomics.

I have been honored to serve as District 2 Representative for the past four years and look forward to the opportunity to continue serving Lincoln County as its District Senator.
